For eight weeks in the summer of 2015, Nicoleta Dvornicov, a junior majoring in Economics and Spanish, worked at Global Solutions Pittsburgh. Global Solutions in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania is an educational organization. This organization works towards creating global solutions to global problems. Under the supervision of Laura Amster, Nicoleta learned about developing and designing educational programs that could support global education - that could be replicated in Moldova. Her primary supervisor was Volker Grzimek and Dr. Peter Hackbert was her secondary faculty supervisor. During her presentation, Nicoleta will discuss her learning and growth experience relation to the EPG abilities while also sharing information about Global Solution Pittsburg that has been educating western Pennsylvanian citizens about global interdependence for over sixty years.
