Minashsha Lamisa

Minashsha

Minashsha Zareel Lamisa (prefers to be called Lamisa) is an international student from Bangladesh. She is intending to major in Economics and Finance. She is an advocate for economic development through social entrepreneurship from an early age, and for this reason, EPG was the ideal program for her. During EPG, she had the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of social entrepreneurship through practice and implement in community development. Most importantly, EPG taught her to be comfortable by being uncomfortable – which is a key ability of an entrepreneur according to her. A fun fact about Lamisa is that her name “Minashsha Zareel” means “Green Plants” in Arabic, and surprisingly, her first exposure to social work was with a non-profit was called “Green Channel”.
