DFE Abstract

Ivan spent ten weeks in the summer of 2015 as an intern at Helm Society in Rye, New York. Helm Society is a peer-to-peer advisory organization bringing leaders and decision makers together to share feedback, give advice, brainstorm fresh ideas, and build valuable relationships. As a double major in Business Management and Computer Science, Ivan gained experienced solving issues, creating scripts and making changes to their websites, both in the source code and through the administrative panel. Under the supervision of Josh Klenoff, Ivan also ensured the development, maintenance, execution, and evaluation of a long-term vision and strategic plan including goals, measures, and targets for people development and program development of roundtables. Ivan’s primary supervisor was Maurice Reid and Dr. Peter Hackbert as his secondary supervisor. During Ivan’s presentation, he will share his learning and growth experience related to the EPG abilities that he acquired at Helm Society.
