First-year Berea College students who are curious about innovation, leadership, and serving communities can apply.

Admission is selective. A written application and interview are required.

Students take a course focused on identity, leadership, innovation, and community understanding.

The May Institute is an immersive travel experience across Appalachia, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, and more.

The DFE is a summer internship or venture project shaped by your interests and supported by EPG.

You must complete the written application, submit short responses, and participate in an interview.

You should reflect on personal growth, curiosity, community impact, and your interest in innovation.

Decisions are typically released by early November.
