DFE Abstract

Jamar Sullivan a health and human performance major, from Greenville, South Carolina worked at Fitness, Friends, and Fun, located in Berea, Kentucky. Completing his second summer with EPG Jamar’s internship duties included assisting potential gym members obtain information about the gym including giving tours of the facility, training clients in personal training from different backgrounds one-on-one, worked with young athletes from different sports to help improve strength and athletic ability, and provide information that was conducive to a safe environment to workout. Jamar applied the skills that he learned during his summer working with Entrepreneurship for the Public Good as well as skills he has learned as a certified personal trainer. He looks forward to working in the fitness industry by either working at private facilities or at schools both college or on the high school level. His primary sponsor is Dr. Peter Hackbert and secondary is Sandy Williams.
